2012 Innovative Classroom Grants Program

The Innovative Classroom Grants Program is for teachers and staff members of the Billerica Public Schools who wish to create new and stimulating experiences for students.  Its purpose is to encourage and support excellence in teaching by awarding grants for innovative projects that otherwise would not be provided for in school budgets. We define innovative projects as those that provide new, significantly improved and/or creative approaches to teaching and learning that lead to positive student outcomes.

The Innovative Classroom Grants Program is made possible through the proceeds of the following events:

  • Turkey Trot
    November 18, 2012
  • Billerica Spelling Bee
    February 2, 2013
  • Fights for Education
    April 26, 2013
  • Spring Art and Talent Show
    TBD
  • Honor Thy Teacher
    TBD

These events are made possible by the efforts of many community volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering for these fundraising events, please contact us.

Applications are due November 1, 2012.
